Hot Rum Toddy

Tip


To pour a hot liquid into a glass, first place a spoon in the glass then pour the liquid over the spoon in order to prevent the glass from cracking.


Ingredients

- 250-500 ml (1-2 cups) boiling water
- 1 measure white or amber rum
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- A big strip of orange zest


Method
  1. Place the sugar and orange zest into a beer mug or glass;
  2. pour in the rum, then the boiling water and serve immediately.
